Learning all of these will teach you the broader skill of Drawing.

Betty Edwards wrote this book all the way back in 1979. Turns out, that is the perfect place to start for anyone that is completely new to drawing and the ones that have been drawing in the past and wants to commit themselves to get better. It takes you through a series of lessons primarily focusing on still life drawing (drawings of everyday objects and parts of the human anatomy, like your hand) and copying the work of other artists. The workbook differs from the original book in that it is more lesson-focused and doesn’t spend as much time going into theory. How much depends on what you expect to get out of it.
